Stretford parkrun takes place every Saturday morning and is organised entirely by a group of volunteers. Activideo made a short film to promote these volunteers and the work they do. Over three hundred runners show up every weekend to enjoy what they love so volunteers are incredibly important. Without volunteers there would be no parkrun, Great Run Local, run leading and marshalling. To find out more about volunteering for Great Run Local click here and for parkrun click here.
The footage was shot on a Panasonic DVX200 4K camera and was edited in 4K and uploaded onto YouTube in 4K.
The video was posted to Stretford parkrun’s Facebook page when we finished the edit and has already received over one thousand views.
When interviewed, Emma Flint had this to say: “It’s absolutely key in terms of the running community to support other runners and particularly to support those with a range of abilities to encourage them just to actually get out there and start running and to keep that enthusiasm going for running in general.”
To promote your event you could have a video like this from £600 to post to Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and many other social network platforms.
