Internships
Activideo have many people asking to come and do work experience so we have decided to implement an intern programme/incubator unit.
The deal is this: We recruit a director, shooter, editor, sound designer, motion graphics and marketer and this unit will become Activideo Intern Cohort 1. The reason for this is that no endeavor these days works well without a team that can work together and no amount of good production will acheive it's target without proper marketing. The production team will produce and the marketer will ensure they are on target and that the project gets exposure via all the social networking opportunities and your personal networks.
You will not be employed by us you will be under your own supervision and work with your team but be under guidance and direction of our MD.
We get: Your enthusiasm and creativity to work on projects that have no budget:
1. Internal Activideo projects that are promotional. These would be items of interest for the MD's blog www.barnesy.tv, "how to" video's for the hire department, promotional video for offers we may have.
2. We have a product in development: Activday, we have a web site www.activday.tv and two walking DVDs (Step by Step) done and a sailing DVD (Plain Sailing) nearly complete.
We want you to commit to about 8 hours a week and coming into the office for at least one day a week to have a meeting, many other things can be done remotely.
You get: Access to Activideo's network of people, use of Activideo equipment for your own projects (when available), mentoring from the MD, use of any material worked on as showreel footage (unless confidential), the Kudos of Activideo Intern Cohort (number) on your CV! And the potential to work on paid Activideo jobs when your cohort finishes.
We may have two cohorts one for 1 and one for 2 depending on applicants.
